This auction is for a two-owner 1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit II. This spectacular car was originally purchased new by Mr. Herman V. Platt, Esq. of Dade County, FL. The car was recently purchased from his estate with only 34,000 miles by the current owner, who is a long time Rolls Royce enthusiast and collector. This true luxury sedan has been properly serviced since day one, and it drives, rides and handles like brand new. The current owner has decided to sell the car and reduce his personal collection since recently relocating to Texas. The mileage of this Rolls Royce is certified as actual/original miles, and the car comes complete with its original set of books and records as well as the factory tool kit. Offered by agent on behalf of the owner, the seller, who is the personal representative for the owner, has possession of the vehicle, authority to negotiate terms, and will personally assist the buyer through the course of the transaction. VEHICLE CONDITIONThis is one of the finest, low mileage examples of among the last of the English hand built Rolls Royces. The car's cosmetic appearance is spectacular, and the overall condition is sure to please even the most discriminating buyer. The body and paint on the car is virtually flawless, and I have yet to find any exterior imperfections. The interior is in excellent shape, with the slightest hint of wear on the supple Connelly leather seats. The headliner and carpets are near perfect, and there is little if anything to fault on the car. Any longtime Rolls Royce owner will appreciate the meticulous care and gentle usage that this car has received over its lifetime. The car has never been smoked in, and it is very close to being pristine. However, please keep in mind that this is a used vehicle. All questions and inquiries are welcome and encouraged. Personal or third party inspections are welcomed and encouraged prior to the close of the auction. Please call or email the seller for a complete and honest description of the vehicle or if you have any specific questions or general concerns. "0" feedback bidders should contact the seller prior to bidding for verification and instructions. Do not bid unless you are a serious and capable buyer. All bidders must have funds available to complete this transaction at the end of the auction, and all pre-purchase financing and payment are the sole responsibility of the buyer. A refundable 10% deposit in the form of a cashier's check or wire transfer is required within three (3) business days from the end of the auction in order to secure the vehicle. The winning bidder is responsible for the balance of payment in the form of cashiers check or wire transfer within seven (7) business days from the end of the auction, unless special circumstances are requested and accepted prior to the auction closing. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle, but the seller can store the car for up to thirty (30) days from the end of the auction if full payment is received. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, however the seller will gladly assist in securing suitable transportation for the vehicle to your front door, if requested at the time of closing. Additionally, the seller will gladly pick up the buyer at the Tulsa International Airport (TUL), should the buyer prefer to personally pick up their purchase and drive home.
By bidding on this vehicle, you are entering into a legally binding contract, so only qualified and capable buyers over the age of 18 may participate. The seller reserves the right to verify or contact bidders, to ensure a fair and honest auction. Additionally, the seller, at their discretion, reserves the right to cancel any bids for those buyers not honoring the conditions listed herein. Please, no "deadbeat" buyers or bid retractions.
NOTE: In order to ensure the complete satisfaction of the buyer, the seller will refund your deposit minus $200 for the listing fee if you are not completely satisfied that this Rolls Royce has been honestly and accurately represented after making a personal inspection of the car. However, be prepared to buy if you bid, and all other terms of sale still apply. Inspection of the car after receipt of deposit DOES NOT entitle the winning bidder to haggle or negotiate a lower price. The seller reserves the right to end the auction prior to closing without any liability, as the vehicle is advertised locally. The buyer is responsible for all applicable fees and taxes upon registration in their home state. The only additional fee not included in the sale price is a $90.00 Documentation Fee for title transfer, tax stamp, and miscellaneous paperwork. In fairness to all potential bidders, please do not ask the reserve price, as it will not be disclosed prior to the end of the auction.
